TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER. Expert has coordinated the transition of new technologies from the laboratory to field demonstration, and then to commercial availability and marketing. He founded a trade organization dedicated to technology transfer in the metalworking industry. Expert developed co-operative programs involving industry, government, and academia. He provided the organizational, managerial, and marketing skills needed to start-up the trade group, successfully submitted matching grant proposals, and was awarded matching funds. He studied market entry strategies, price sensitivity, competitive analysis, and barriers to market introduction and penetration. Energy Procurement. Expert managed the start-up of an energy sales company where he was responsible for marketing and sales of electricity and natural gas. He was Ohio's first independent broker and a pioneer in assisting companies with their procurement process.
