|EHS Compliance Auditing and Assurance. Lead Auditor - Global Compliance Assurance Programme for General Motors Corporation. Involving leading audits in across mainland Europe and Africa. Each audit involves 2 weeks on-site assessing compliance with national and local legislation (relevant to both environment and Health and Safety) as well as the GM corporate requirements. Lead Auditor – Part of a UK wide programme of audits for Tyco including recent locations in Portsmouth, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Wolverhampton. Each audit involves a week onsite and covers both compliance with EHS legislation and adherence to corporate standards (ongoing). Lead Auditor – GE Healthcare, compliance audit as part of global assurance programme in Cork, Republic of Ireland. Subject Matter Expert – BP Logistics, compliance auditor against environment, health and safety legislation at UK logistics site as part of BP’s global EHS assurance programme.
Lead Auditor – Caterpillar, conformance and compliance EHS audits led at Caterpillar facilities in Italy and Poland.
Low Carbon Consultant: Lodged energy performance certificates at office, warehouse, retail and industrial properties in England and Wales using Design Builder software. Waste Minimisation at a UK refinery reducing oily wastes went to landfill and developing a report for compliance with the site’s IPPC improvement conditions. Third Party Waste Evaluator for Chevron assurance programme for the use of waste disposal facilities by Chevron sites. Implementation of waste management solutions across Wrexham Industrial Estate, one of the largest industrial estates by area in the UK.
REACH Compliance: Delivered REACH advice to DANA, a multinational automotive manufacturer including web based training on pre-registration requirements to over 20 facilities in 7 countries. Managed the global REACH compliance programme including facilities in North and South America, India, China and Australia to protect the supply of critical materials through the implementation of the REACH requirements in the EU. REACH pre-registration screening advice delivered to GE Transportation and GE Aviation. Site visits undertaken in the UK to review supply chains and evaluate pre-registration requirements.
