Expert A. Expert has extensive experience in building construction, which has included eleven (11) manufacturing plants that ranged from greenfield sites to the modification of existing structures to incorporate the unique manufacturing requirements. Additionally Expert is a registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering along with being a Licensed General Contractor for Small Commercial and Residential Construction. Lastly, Expert has been responsible for the development of numerous building products including metal roofing, fiber cement siding, vinyl siding, and cement slate roofing.

Expert has experience in the regulations concerning building construction including OSHA requirements, city approvals (MEA, Dade County, Etc.), model building codes, design standards (AISC, AISI, etc.), NFPA, ASTM, and ASCE. Expert has participated in the writing of ASTM specifications for fire protection and cement based products as well as assisting in the development of several areas of the model codes.

Expert managed a team of engineers and designers involved in the design of roofing systems for power plants, steel mills, schools, aircraft hangers, etc.

Expert has experience in the development and application of steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and cement based products for the construction industry having developed products marketed by Fabral, Owens Corning and James Hardie.

Expert has successfully managed the construction of 11 manufacturing plants including development of initial design, development of project schedules, selection of vendors, development of capital and construction budgets, selection of equipment, installation of structures and equipment, plant start-up, and testing and training of new associates.

Expert has been a senior member of several corporations and has been instrumental in the development of strategic plans that included developmental plans for new products and manufacturing facilities, safety, environmental, and engineering.

Expert has managed design engineering teams involved in the development of new building products along with the design of large corporate (exterior) image systems for Ford, GM, McDonalds, Nissan, CVS, etc. Staffs have ranged from four to 90 personnel.

Expert has been able to marry his product development experience with his experience in understanding and developing manufacturing facilities. This has resulted in products that stress the need for ease in assembly while maintaining good product margins.

Expert has managed several manufacturing plants during the initial start up phase including the selection of staffs, training, development of safety and maintenance plan. He has been responsible for inventory management, capacity planning, and quality along with P&L responsibility. He has managed teams that have reviewed plant performance then developed solutions that allowed increased productivity while reducing scrap and waste.

Expert has lead teams that have evaluated the current manufacturing processes then developed a streamlined reorganization that resulted in increased productivity while decreases production costs.

Expert was the Project Manager for a company for the design of the infrastructure and relocation of all equipment to new 150,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
