Request Expert

Expert is Expert and head of the Unit of Urologic and Genetic Epidemiology at the Employer (UK) and Vice-President of the European Epidemiology Federation. He holds an honorary professorship at Huiyang People's Hospital (China) and is visiting Expert and head of the department of Complex Genetics at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. He received a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994; three Master degrees in Health Science, Epidemiology and Genetic Epidemiology in 1997, 1998 and 2002; a PhD degree in Cancer Epidemiology in 2001 and was promoted to Chair in 2006. He has published over 100 scientific papers mainly on Causal Epidemiology, Research Synthesis and Twin Studies, with special emphasis on Child Development, Diabetes and Urological Cancers. He serves on the boards of Netherlands Society of Epidemiology and the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is director of a contract research and training organisation that provides short-term research support, research reports based on evidence synthesis and training Seminars in the fields of Classical Epidemiology, Genetic Epidemiology and Legal Epidemiology.
