His experience of 34 years in the field has resulted in comprehensive knowledge of seeking out and recognizing the importance of electrical artifacts at a fire or accident scene. His knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practical wiring work together to form a complete evaluation. When the circumstances require a detail lab exam he conducts that exam at Applied Technical Services using the latest macrophotography, x-ray and SEM technology.




He has provided expert witness services for electrical events which resulted in losses by fire and electrocution. Most of his approx 2,000 cases have resulted in a written report, but approximately 10% continue to sworn testimony by deposition and/or court appearance. He is effective at communication with the jury in presenting the events so they can understand them. He has appeared in state and federal court and has also testified in his Daubert hearing where he was found to be a qualified expert and that he used proper procedures.
