Expert is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with special expertise and certification in hand surgery. After training in orthopaedic surgery in Philadelphia, he completed additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery at a major teaching hospital in the East Coast. He currently practices hand surgery as an attending staff member at a major teaching hospital in the Greater Philadelphia area, and also serves as an Orthopaedic Instructor and Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for Thomas Jefferson University resident and medical students at his affiliated hospitals.

In the field of Orthopedic surgery, Expert has focused his practice on the treatment and rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity, including arthroscopy and microsurgery, working closely with on-site hand therapy service in order to provide optimum care to his patients. He has published extensively in the field of hand surgery and has been and still is recognized as one of the areas “Top Doctors” for hand surgery.
