(8) Safety and risk analysis of catalytic hydrogenations
(9) Improvement of economy and ecology of catalytic processes
(10) particular experience in the selective hydrogenation of alkynes to alkenes, nitriles to amines, phenols to cyclohexanones, stereoselective hydrogenation of substituted aromatic compounds, diastereoselective hydrogenations, chemoselective hydrogenations of multifunctional compounds, selective hydrogenation of nitrate to hydroxylamine, selective hydrogenation of halogensubstituted nitroaromatics to the corresponding halogensubstituted anilines, hydrogenation of sorbitol, hydrogenation/rearrangement of nitroaromatics to para-aminophenol compounds, selective partial hydrogenation of nitroaromatics to the corresponding hydroxylamines
(11) particular experience in the oxidative dehydrogenation of primary alcohols to carboxylic acids

Expert has specific know how in micro- and macrokinetics, determination of gas/liquid transport coefficients, measurement of gas partial pressures in the liquid (also in situ during reactions)
