Expert has used drainage principles in site grading for a wide range of projects including residential tracts, commercial tracts and community parks. He has designed various drainage systems such as surface, sub-surface and underground systems for many projects.

Expert has directly developed and reviewed the hydrologic and hydraulic design for over 20 projects. Projects include area drainage plan, commercial site storm drain system, residential site storm drain system, construction site stormwater quality management, post-construction stormwater BMP, flood routing, and flood plain analysis.

Expert has strong understanding on hydrology principles. He has applied rational method and unit hydrograph method to over 15 projects including residential tracts, commercial tracts and community parks, etc. Expert also has experience in area drainage study, flood routing, and flood plain encroachment analysis.

Expert has directly developed and reviewed underground liquid pipeline design for over 25 projects. Projects include but not limit to domestic water, fire water, recycled water, non-reclaimable water, gravity sanitary sewer, and sewage forcemain. Material used varies from steel, ductile iron, PVC, to VCP. Expert has strong understanding in design requirement for different piper materials.

Expert has experience in designing underground plastic pipeline to convey water, recycled water, non-reclaimable water, and sanitary sewer. He is fairly familiar with the design requirements and calculations for plastic pipeline.

Expert has a lot of experience in underground sewer pipeline design including both gravity main and forcemain. He is familiar with the full scope of sewer design service from sewage generation calculation, pipe size determination, alignment selection, and construction document. Expert has experience with both PVC and VCP sewer pipeline design.

Expert has been working on storm drainage system most of his career. He has designed many complicated storm drainage systems which consist of open channel, culvert, underground pipe/box, and detention basins. Expert is very experienced in design and hydraulic calculation of open channel, culvert, reinforced concrete box, reinforced concrete pipe, and HDPE.

Expert is familiar with Sections related to stormwater in Clean Water Act. He has experience in stormwater quality control for both construction phase and post-construction phase. Expert has strong background in dealing with stormwater both quantitatively and qualitatively. He has developed Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Water Quality Management Plan for many projects.

Expert is familiar with both phase I and phase II of NPDES program. He is familiar with TMDL and 303(d) list. Expert has a good understanding of pollutants of concern associated with different land development projects, selection of treatment BMPs, and design procedure for both flow-based and volume-based structural treatment BMPs. He has developed and reviewed SWPPP and WQMP for many projects.

Expert has experience in hydrology and hydraulic calculations for urban runoff (storm runoff). He has strong understanding in pollutants of concern in urban runoff and the importance of urban runoff to water quality of waters in the United States. Expert is interested in education of water quality issues in related to urban runoff. Everyone can do something to improve the water quality of urban runoff.

He helped one of his clients in obtaining all permits necessary for a tennis court addition project. Furthermore, he helped the client in selecting a right contractor and managed the whole construction process which took about five months.
