She is a water treatment consultant and recently completed a water treatment plant audit for an ethanol manufacture. She reviewed the water system operation and recommended increasing the backwash flows for the filters, identified severe scaling in the secondary reverse (RO) osmosis units and recommended converting the secondary RO to primary RO units as well as installing another clarifer to produce an effluent that will meet the NPDES discharge limitations. She is a consultant and recently wrote a report discussing the various water and wastewater coagulants that are used as alternatives to aluminum sulfate (alum) and sodium aluminate including including aluminum chlorohydrate (ACH), polyaluminum chloride (PAC), polyaluminum chloride-sulfate, ferric sulfate, ferrous chloride and ferric chloride.
She discused the primary manufacturers and the classes of products that are produced in the United States and Canada. She also provided descriptions of manufacturing operations including raw materials, reactor sizes, reaction times and temperatures.
She is a consultant and conducted an audit of clarifiers (cold lime softeners) at a electric power plant. She evaluated the performance of the water treatment facilities and made recommendations for optimization and included an assessment of the technologies, chemical treatment and monitoring programs of the water treatment system. She is a water treatment consultant and completed a comprehensive audit of the influent, steam and cooling water systems at a large refinery. She reviewed the system operations and made several recommendations to optimize the operations of the influent, steam and cooling water systems resulting more efficient operations. She is a wastewater treatment system consultant and completea comprehensive audit of the wastewater system at a large refinery. She reviewed the wastewater unit operations and made recommendations to optimize the system operation and improve the effluent quality.
