Expert has been a hands-on in-house re/insurance lawyer for 39 years. He has spent over 25 years at the C-Suite and General Counsel level for U.S. and international re/insurers. He has managed the formation, purchase, sale, and licensing and capitalization of public, private and mutual re/insurers and MGA/MGUs.

Expert was a commercial casualty underwriter and is a CPCU and re/insurance arbitrator certified by ARIAS (AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society) and AAA. He managed the rate, rule and form filings units of two major insurers, drafted manuscript policies, and advised large risk underwriting units (loss-sensitive, high liability deductible, and excess insurance).

Expert is a financial condition and holding company structuring and transaction specialist. He co-managed a Workers' Compensation Underwriting Department and managed a run-off Claims Department.

Expert formed, qualified, tax-planned and advised the trading desk of an interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives dealer (U.S., UK, Japan) as well as an weather derivatives dealer (U.S., Bermuda).
