Expert is a seasoned Engineering Leader with over 20 years of experience in Medical Devices, including Product Development and Product Management. He set up the Global Technology Centre for TE Connectivity and Medtronic in India and has established a Catheter manufacturing line in Class-8 Cleanroom. He has sound experience in Design Controls, Quality Management Systems, ISO13485 certification, and regulatory standards and approvals for different country regulations for class 2 and class 3 medical devices. He has broad and diverse multinational experience in medical devices, healthcare delivery, and control products, and he has led several programs in R&D, Innovation, and Product Development at GE, Medtronic, and TE Connectivity. He also holds 10 granted U.S. patents.

Expert was most recently employed as General Manager - R&D at Metal Power Analytical, the world's fastest growing Optical Emission Spectrometer company. He led R&D and Product Management and drove the team to develop new optical emission spectrometers, oil analysis RDE Spectrometer and cloud-based SW and Apps. Prior to this, he led TE Connectivity Ltd for three years in the capacity of Head Engineering - Medical India. At TE, Expert set up the global technology centre in India from conception to completion to drive Innovation, R&D, contract manufacturing and product lifecycle management with 100+ engineers. He was instrumental in moving jobs from Ireland, US, and other countries, growing the India Medical business to $20MM. Before TE, Expert held the position of Principal Engineer/ Manager - Systems & Human Factors, while working at Medtronic PLC. He was instrumental in setting up of the Technology Centre for Medtronic in Bangalore and led the design and development of portfolio of new Dialysis Technology systems to move treatment to home. Before joining Medtronic, he held the position of Senior Systems Engineering Leader - Human Factors & Clinical Research, while working at GE Healthcare Inc. Additionally, he held the position of Technology Project Lead, while working at General Electric Company.
