Among other projects, he has conducted technical review of project requirements for an anti-vibration systems firm and for an energy group. Expert has worked at the concept stage of an innovative, maintenance-free bridge in central London with a design life of 125 years and copper/nickel and carbon manganese steel in its roll bonded plate, which will require process welding.

He has reviewed welding and inspection procedures for remedial works on a bridge requiring thick steel fabrication, mechanical testing, and welding trial monitoring.

He has consulted on a construction material issues in Hong Kong and China to inspect steelwork, organization, and the control of mechanical testing.

In building construction, Expert conducted failure investigation to determine the cause of weld failures during the site welding of structural steelwork.

He was commissioned for failure investigations of a ball mill in Russia -- a claim exceeding £2 million. The scope of the investigation included site visits, metallurgical analysis, investigation and reporting.
