Prior to starting his company, Expert was the Director of Industrial Solutions for a Fortune 500 regional utility company. A graduate of IIT Mumbai, India and later the University of Illinois at Urbana, he was the Vice President of Engineering for a National Mechanical Service Contractor. He has served as Application Specialist and Industrial Market Manager for Performance Contracting with a Fortune 200 controls company. He is a registered professional engineer and a member of ASHRAE. He has served as Director of Professional Services for an engineering consulting firm and as Development Engineer for Heat Exchange and Process Optimization for a major oil refining and petrochemicals company.

With over 25 years of experience in energy conservation for industrial process and institutional facilities systems, Expert provides niche expertise for supporting sustainable energy conservation, from energy management benchmarking, setting of key performance indicators and accountability, to niche technical expertise, implementation and tracking metrics that demonstrate results.

Expert’s expertise is in facilitating energy teams and developing creative long-term solutions for achieving sustainable energy conservation. His focus is on a phased implementation approach, moving projects from concept through implementation with accountability for results. He is experienced in the evaluation and optimization of compressed air systems, industrial ventilation systems and process cooling systems. We have developed, managed and implemented Master Plans for optimizing large District Heating and Cooling Plants for Colleges and Universities, including thermal storage and demand side strategies.
