Expert, M.D., F.A.C.S., is board certified in otolaryngology as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is also board certified and fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He received his MD from Rush Medical College in 1998 and completed his internship in general surgery and resident training in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at the University Hospital and Medical Center in NY in 2003. He completed additional fellowship and resident training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in 2009, achieving Chief Resident position his final year as a plastic surgeon resident.

He has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology, at his medical college and an attending physician in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology at a few different hospitals along the East Coast. He has served as a consultant to Kythera Pharmaceuticals, BioForm, Sanofi-Aventis, and ABC News. Expert is listed in Marquis Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.

He has extended his expertise as a plastic surgeon to numerous domestic and international public service activities provideing facial plastic surgery for patients who have sustained facial injuries as a result of domestic violence and providing facial plastic surgery for patients with facial deformities on mission trips to Hanoi, Vietnam.

His expertise include presenting and understanding current concepts of rhinoplasty, aesthetic facial plastic surgery, facial transplantation, advances in facial plastic surgery and anti-aging therapies, upper respiratory ailment, otolaryngology emergencies, clinical approaches to assessment and treatment of neck masses, and physical examination of head and neck. He has also studied advanced laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and other otolaryngology diseases.

His experience include achieving BOTOX browlift, various facial transplantations, refinements in regional reconstruction, facial defects following Mohs micrographic surgery, facial contouring and alloplastic implants, and lower lid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. His clinical research in this area include investigating the efficacy of the mid-forehead eyebrow lift to correct eyebrow ptosis and rejuvenate the forehead-eyelid complex, examining the use of hydroxyapatite granules in aesthetic and reconstructive facial surgery, and facial rejuvenation.

He has provided consulting services to patients as well as presentations on cutaneous procedures and marketing strategies involved in plastic surgery, essential elements of optimal pre-operative appointments and post-surgical services and advice.


As a plastic surgeon, Expert is an expert on skin care during surgery, specifically in skin healing and scar tissue formation and prevention, skin infection treatment and various skin conditions. He provides consultation in skin care treatment before and after plastic and reconstructive surgery to ensure his patients are complete satisfied with their procedures.

Expert has worked with law firms performing expert case review. He has also worked with hedge funds, investment banks, and venture capital firms to review new technology, devices, and pharmaceuticals which are being developed and/or currently used in clinical practice.Expert has consulted for ABC News.
