He has more than 13 years of experience in this field, spanning different African countries under European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) and USAID-funded projects such as Pharmacovigilance Africa (PAVIA), Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS) and the Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program led by MSH, and Supply Chain and Pharmaceutical Assistance for Sustainable System (SC-PASS). He is currently working as a Senior Technical Officer for Pharmacovigilance with an African Public Health Agency, where his main responsibilities are to strengthen the safety surveillance of various member states across Africa and ensure the safety of Vaccines, as well as coordinate pharmacovigilance activities and provide technical assistance to strengthen the pharmacovigilance system.

Expert previously coordinated pharmacovigilance efforts and provided technical assistance to the National Pharmacovigilance Center of the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini, geared toward strengthening the pharmacovigilance system. He supported the Eswatini Ministry of Health in setting up a pharmacovigilance center, among other efforts, including national pharmacovigilance policy and guidelines, data flow and management, and capacity building. Expert also supported the establishment of the pharmacovigilance center at the Ministry of Health, Government of the Republic of South Sudan, developing various standard operating procedures, tools, and training manuals for health care workers.

Expert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Bordeaux, France.
