Expert is board certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in pulmonary disease and B-Reader Pneumoconiosis. He was trained in medicine at two hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and as a pulmonary fellow at a VA medical hospital. His expertise is in clinical medicine. He evaluates and treats individuals who are thought to have occupational lung disease. He performs these exams as a Pulmonary Physician but also as a consultant for industry, attorneys, DOL, Workmens' Comp. and Health Screening Companies. His publications in his area of expertise include the effect of Digoxin, Bronchogenic tumor tissue, the effects of terbutaline and epinephrine on asthma and benigh metastasizing leiomyoma.

His extensive experience includes holding several medical executive positions such as Medical Director of several Health PPO and hospice care. He is also an advocate for his local country medical society. He has been involved in the process of credentials, by-laws, quality assurance, utilization review, Tort reform, pharmaceutical and therapeutics issues, legal affairs, MASA/AQAF oversight and legislative and ethics issues.

He has been an expert witness for cases involving medical malpractice, social security appeals, black lung claims, asbestos litigations, the Department of Labor, occupational asthma and diet drugs. He has served as a B-Reader for the Department of Labor, industrial health councils and dusty trades and on cases involving pneumoconiosis claims. His consulting experience include quality assurance, certification examination and physician advisor.
