Expert Wolffhas been involved with a number of diverse entrepreneurial ventures since 2002. From taking an active management role to day-to-day operations, to writing software, to simply providing guidance, we will do what’s necessary to move a project forward. A sample list of ventures and has role in those ventures is listed below. Expert is also a member of the MindForce Consulting IP Team, a group of experienced project leaders that collaborates to determine the optimal strategy for developing a client’s intellectual property and then executing on that strategy.
Sample Companies:
Brookhaven Strategies LLC (current). Founding partner of Brookhaven Strategies, LLC, an NFA registered commodity trading advisory firm. Expert’s responsibilities have included ongoing strategy development, compliance, marketing, due diligence, and portfolio management since 2008. In addition to managing trading and financial operations, Expert built a commodity trading simulator for algorithm selection and portfolio construction and business accounting programs. He also wrote all company policies and successfully managed an NFA audit with no deficiencies. Company won April 2012 Barclay Hedge Top Ten Award for Diversified Traders Managing Less Than $10M.
DM Innovations (current). Expert is a co-founder of this gaming company specializing in novel video poker and other card games. His responsibilities have included building a PC based demonstration of several games, marketing, building a game simulator to evaluate the statistical outcomes of games, successfully writing and defending patent applications, and managing web site development. This work has led to the award of three patents and the successful sale of one of those patents.
Plastic Advanced Recycling Corporation (PARC). PARC, a waste plastic to fuel conversion startup funded by a wealthy angel investor, hired Expert to provide business strategy and evaluate the viability of a patented process for converting waste plastic into diesel fuel. To accomplish these tasks, Expert defined a market strategy, held a number of exploratory meetings with potential clients and partners, and created a cost-based business model of their patented conversion process which showed the challenges associated with the economics of running a plant with their process. He also recommended testing the fuel product by an independent testing lab to confirm results done earlier by an off-shore lab. These tests showed that the fuel produced was much dirtier than originally claimed by the inventor. As a result of the testing and economic evaluation, the investor decided to suspend development of the process.
Triad Biometrics. Strategy and marketing advisor to Triad Biometrics, a biometric security startup. In this role, Expert created contract templates, marketing materials, white paper, engineering specifications, wrote and successfully defended company’s patent applications, and developed web site content.
TMI Business Technologies. TMI contracted with Expert to market a patented new business card product. Expert placed the product for sale as one of the first office products offered on Amazon.com’s marketplace sold by a smaller company. In addition, he negotiated a Letter of Intent with a private label manufacturer to distribute the product through one of several client office supply firms.
