Marketing Experience
It is an important measure to improve the operation efficiency of the urban traffic system by coordinating the service ability of the stop and the parking demand of the buses. Based on the known operation routes, departure interval, the site of stops and its parking space for buses at stop, and assumptions that the travel time on the road segment and the stopping time on the bus stops of the public bus obey probability distribution, in the recent study and program service I have done a study on the service reliability of the bus stop and proposes the calculating formulas of the bus stop service reliability which can figure out the probability of multiple buses meeting at the stop in arbitrary time interval, and a new conception, a-reliability, is defined to measure service reliability of bus stop. We come to the conclusion that: the service reliability of bus stop will be influenced if any of those, such as the travel time of part of the road section, stop time and etc., changes, and the method proposed in recent can provide an new analysis tool to analyze the influence which the new project acts on the parking place of the bus stop.
