I am a registered radiologic technologist in radiography and sonography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This sonography exam includes patient care, physics, abdomen and small parts, and obstetrics and gynecology. I am also registered in abdomen and small parts as well as obstetrics and gynecology with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. I have international experience teaching at a pediatric hospital in Laos. I am currently the nationally recognized expert sonography representative on the Practice Standards Council for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) serving in my eighth year. In addition, I have previously served as the vice chair and chair of this council. Further, I am one of four nationally elected sonography delegates for the ASRT House of Delegates. I volunteer as a committee member on the legislative committee for the Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists. I engage in many other volunteer activities related to sonography as well. I was formerly the program director/coordinator for Indiana University's Kokomo campus for eight years. I have also formerly worked for Siemens as a Sr. Clinical Sales Specialist (aka applications specialist). I have a broad range of experience in other aspects of the medical field that accompanied me in my imaging career. That combined with the imaging experience affords me the ability to consider multiple aspects of any particular case.
