Expert has served as an executive and/or director in three well known and two smaller companies in the audio industry. He was the CEO or president of Jensen Sound Laboratories (car stereo), JBL Incorporated (loudspeakers and professional audio products), and Marantz Company (audio and video components). He was also president and CEO of Simtech International, producer of simplified consumer electronics products. He currently serves as Chairman of Neosonik Audio, a development stage company manufacturing the world's first high fidelity wireless 5.1 audio and high definition video systems. Expert also has served as an officer and director of the major trade organizations in the audio and consumer electronics industries.
Expert has had extensive experience in helping clients bring products to market. He works with them from the earliest stages in concept innovation and research and development, through product design, sourcing or manufacturing, packaging design, point of sales magerials, collaterateral advertising and promotional materials, distribution strategies and other elements which are part of the "whole product" development process.Organizational assessments, planning, structuring and implementation of new organizational structures are key consulting services provided by Expert and his associates. Expert does a great deal of work helping clients restructure their product development organization, processes, and interfaces with other corporate and outside departments. He has taught brand and product management courses at the graduate business school level at Loyola Marymount University and at USC's Marshall School of Business. Expert is a partner is a Hong Kong based company that assists manufacturers, distributors and retailers in developing, sourcing and quality control of products manufactured in China and other Asian countries.Distribution planning for consumer products through all major channels of distribution is another of Expert's specialties. He has had experience in marketing to and selling big box retailers, mass merchants, specialty retailers, catalog and internet marketers and other forms of direct marketing.
