Expert has 9 issued patents, 4 patents related to voltage control oscillator (VCOs), 3 patents related to DC offset correction in receiver baseband section, 2 patents related to RF TV tuners. He has production ICs in Samsung and Sagem GSM cellular phones; Sony & Uiden Digital Cordless telephones; WiFi certified WLAN IEEE a/b/g combo.
Expert has worked on different mixed-signal circuits for wireless and hard disk driver channel ICs. He has designed numerous baseband filters; one of them is a 100KHz channel selection gm-C filter which is in production Sagem GSM phones. He has also works on various programmable filters for read channel disk drives. One of the 3V gm-C filters was presented in ESSCirC on Sept 1994 and it was published in JSSC on July 1995. He has designed sub micron CMOS Analog Intellectual property Circuits (IPs) for digital baseband Circuits, circuits such as crystal oscillators (XOSC), linear regulators, & power management circuits.
He has spreadheaded on chip VCO development while working at Conextant. Integrated VCOs reduced the cost of built of materials (BOMS), it brings about significant cost reduction to the handset market. He has contributed putting together a Company wide VCO pattern portfolio. He has 4 issued patents related to VCO design. He worked on LC VCOs, colpitts VCOs & crystal oscillators.
