Expert has been involved in legal matters pertaining to the use of ingredients, the sales of food ingredients to particular customers and industries and the contractual obligations of contracts as they pertain to services rendered by food ingredient brokers and distributors. This is particularly targets to liquidated damage clauses in brokerage and distributor contracts.

He is very active in the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since 1975 having been elected and holding positions within the Local Section which is Chicago Based.
